A 43-year-old mother was surprised to be diagnosed with autism and ADHD at this age, while teachers described her as unintelligent as a child.

The mother, Rachel Winder, who now lives in the midst of her family consisting of her husband and two children, created an account on the “Tik Tok” application, and she has more than 40,000 followers, with the aim of educating others about these neurological problems and how to deal with them, according to the “Mirror” website.

“I want people to know there’s nothing wrong with us, but we have different mechanisms at work,” Winder said, adding, “I think you don’t need to be diagnosed with that, because it’s not a disease.”

“Being autistic and having ADHD is not necessarily a problem, but the inflexibility of the environment causes those problems,” Winder explained.

“At school, the teachers told me I wasn’t smart and would never reach anything,” she said, describing her feelings, saying I spent several bad years feeling like I was missing out, and I felt like everyone around me had a mission and things they could do, and for me, it just seemed so far away. “.

And she continued: “One of my friends advised me to join support groups for autism patients, and indeed I joined one of the groups, and I felt that there are people around me in this world talking about stories similar to mine.”

Not only that, but she was also diagnosed with dyslexia, which refers to a learning difficulty that can cause problems with reading, spelling and writing.

“The guy who diagnosed me told me I was very critical, so I looked at him beaming and said ‘But at least I’ve got anything I can be good at,'” Winder said.

The forty-year-old decided to take up the challenge, heading to high school again, and then began posting positive videos on her small channel on Tik Tok, and the number of her followers quickly increased, saying: “Now I want to help others realize that they have nothing wrong.”
