Within the framework of a broad operation carried out in the Calamuchita and Tercero Arriba departments, as a result of complaints received, inspectors from the General Directorate of Inspection and Control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock preventively closed an aerial team (aircraft ) of pulverization and a self-propelled land machine.
The operations, as officially reported, were carried out in establishments in Hernando and Río de los Sauces.
In addition, 10 agricultural producers were invited to present the Digital Phytosanitary Recipe (RFD) of the latest applications.
As reported by the Ministry of Agriculture, the machines were not enabled in the Inspection and Control Registry of the agricultural portfolio and the application tasks had been carried out without having the RFD, which is issued by a registered phytosanitary advisor.
“All these violations of Law No. 9164, which regulates the use of Chemical and Biological Products for Agricultural Use, determined the preventive measure to protect public health, the environment, agricultural production and the assets of third parties,” said the Ministry.
It should be noted that any application of phytosanitary products must be carried out with equipment and an operator authorized for this purpose, in addition, the application must be prescribed through a digital phytosanitary prescription which is issued by a phytosanitary advisor.
