DEPUTY Chairman of Commission III DPR RI from the NasDem Party Fraction, Ahmad Sahroni, asked that the East Jakarta Damkar officer with the initials SN who molested his biological child be punished severely. The NasDem legislator also emphasized that victims should be given protection and recovery.
“I ask the police to immediately provide psychological assistance to the victim and the victim’s mother. Also ensure that the perpetrator receives the appropriate severe punishment,” said Sahroni in his statement, Friday (5/4).
Sahroni assessed that in this case the perpetrator was the perpetrator of the crime, not the victim’s father. According to him, no father would have the heart to do that to his child.
The NasDem legislator, who will return to Senayan in the 2024-2029 period from the Jakarta III electoral district (North Jakarta, West Jakarta, Seribu Islands), also gave several notes to the police, especially regarding the length of time for disclosing cases.
In the future, Sahroni wants the police to prioritize cases of child abuse. Because, he saw that the time span between reporting an obscenity case and disclosing it was still quite long so it had to be a separate record for the police. (Z-8)
