How impactful do you think AI will be ? Is it just a new tool or is it going tochange our lives and in what way?
I definitely do think it’s more than a tool ! A few years ago, some people weresurprised I called it the most profound technology humanity had ever work on,more profound than fire or electricity. Tools enable other things. But this is the first time I think we are dealing with something that can make everything better. It creates a virtuous cycle at all layers. I think it will drive an amplified shift in a way that is tough for us to fully internalize. In technology, we call that « platform shift ». And they have non-linear effects. I see it horizontally impacting all sectors. It will definitely augment human potential and productivity and creativity. I’ve always viewed it as a very profound technological shift which will have a multiplicative effect across all layers of the economy.
