Kozhikode: The cyber wing of the Kerala Police recovered the stolen money using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The lost money was recovered from Radhakrishnan, a native of Kozhikode. The cyber police department recovered the money through a decisive move.

On Saturday, the police received a complaint that money was stolen from Radhakrishnan through video calls using AI technology. The video call came to Radhakrishnan pretending to be someone he had worked with earlier in Andhra Pradesh. It was demanded through video call that I need 40,000 rupees for the treatment of my sister. Immediately, Radhakrishnan sent the money online. After asking for money again, Radhakrishnan became suspicious and lodged a complaint with the police.

Immediately, the cyber department issued instructions to all banks in India in this regard. Maharashtra’s Ratnakar Bank informed the Kerala Police about the money transfer. Ratnakar Bank informed that such money transfer has taken place and it has been frozen. The police informed that the money will be returned to Radhakrishnan as soon as other procedures are completed.

Cyber ​​cell chief S. said that the complaint was filed soon after the money fraud took place and the reason for intervention and getting the money back. Harishankar responded. He said that it is better to report such scams as early as possible. If so, it would be possible to prevent withdrawal of money, he added.
