Whether you start a diet or start exercising (or both), success is almost always judged by weight alone. If we don’t lose any, it’s a failure. If you lose it, but then win it back, it’s a failure. However, there are tons of studies which show that aiming solely or mainly at weight loss is a mistake, experts in the matter denounced Thursday at the ACFAS congress, which is being held in Quebec this week.
