2023-12-16 09:22:59

Air Belgium, which was placed in judicial reorganization proceedings at the end of last September, continues to reimburse customers affected by the cancellation of its own passenger flights since the beginning of October, indicates the airline. The company continues to develop its ACMI activities, that is to say the chartering of aircraft for other companies, whether freight or passengers.

At the end of September, Air Belgium announced the end of its directly operated passenger flights to South Africa and Mauritius from October 3.

The Nivelles commercial court immediately accepted the company’s request to be placed in judicial reorganization procedure (PRJ). The company has until January 22 to present its plan.

Negotiations within the framework of the PRJ, whether with suppliers or customers, are progressing in accordance with the anticipated plan“, communicates the company. “All customer files affected by the cancellation of flights are being processed, either have already been processed, or have already been the subject of an agreement“, she adds.
