On August 2, at the airport of Irkutsk, the aircraft of Siberia Airlines collided with a flock of birds during takeoff run. The crew of the aircraft decided to abort the takeoff and return to the parking lot, the press service of the East Siberian Transport Prosecutor’s Office reports. The plane followed flight No. 6329 “Irkutsk – Yakutsk”.
On board the aircraft were 124 passengers, no injuries. The Transport Prosecutor’s Office checks compliance with flight safety legislation. Specialists assess the technical condition of the vessel.
