Director and Bigg Boss winner Akhil Marar shares an emotional video from the business class of an Emirates flight. Akhil says that he is happy that he has gone from being ignored and neglected to getting a business class ticket on Emirates and being invited to take the money he asks for. Being a film director, he has not even called in clubs in the country and the callers have not even given him the fare. Akhil Marar says that he is making this video so that his life can be a lesson for the youth who came from that situation to this situation.
“I am a person who has made some efforts and listened to some people’s jokes with the desire to become something in life. In the past I went to an inauguration ceremony. Went from Kochi. I told them there is nothing wrong with coming to the event. But at least you have to pay for the carriage fare. There were many events that were attended without even giving money to fill the car with petrol. Similarly, there was a time when he was excluded from many programs.
In 2013, the film for which I worked as an assistant director won the National Award. At that time no one paid any attention to us. During that period no one invited us for an event even in a small club. I am a film director and writer and have participated in many channel discussions since then. Even then, even in my country, many clubs have not called me, and even those who have called me have not even paid the expenses. From that time on, I feel a sense of personal pride when I get invited to an event in Sharjah with the money I asked for in business class at Emirates.
Like I said in Bigg Boss, no matter who tries to trample us, whoever mocks us, we have to keep moving forward.
