Madrid: Saudi Arabian club Al Ahly is eyeing Argentina’s World Cup champion star midfielder Rodrigo de Paul. Leading sports journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed on Twitter that Al-Ahly has started the process of bringing De Paul to the team. After the move to acquire Polish midfielder Peter Zielinski from Napoli failed, the Saudi club is making a huge offer for De Paul.
De Paul is currently the star of Atletico Madrid, who are the giants of the Spanish league. Romano noted that Al Ahly are making a serious effort, although Atletico may not be ready to let go of their striker, the Argentine.
