11 Al-Ahly players will be absent from the team’s roster in the match between Chabab Belouizdad in Algeria in the African Champions League, as Wissam Abu Ali, Mohamed El-Shenawy, Mahmoud Metwally, Ahmed Abdel-Qader, Ahmed Nabil Koka, Khaled Abdel-Fattah, Mohamed El-Dawy, Christo, Percy Tao, and Diang are all absent due to injury. The duo, Omar Kamal Abdel Wahed and Mahmoud Al-Zanfali, due to not being registered on the African list.

Al-Ahly’s roster in Algeria includes 22 players, most notably Reda Selim, who joined the roster following a long period of absence due to a shoulder injury since last December.

The list includes: Mustafa Schubert, Hamza Alaa, Mustafa Makhlouf, Karim Al-Dabis, Ali Maaloul, Akram Tawfiq, Mohamed Hani, Rami Rabia, Yasser Ibrahim, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Marwan Attia, Imam Ashour, Amr Al-Sulayya, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Karim Nedved, Mustafa Abu Al-Khair, Hussein Al-Shahat, Anthony Modest, Karim Fouad, Taher Mohamed Taher, Reda Selim, and Mahmoud Abdel Moneim “Kahraba”.

This morning, Thursday, Al-Ahly held the last training session in Cairo before the team moved to Cairo Airport to begin the journey to Algeria on a private plane to play the match between Shabab Belouizdad in the African Champions League, which will be held at nine o’clock next Friday evening, Cairo time.

The Al-Ahly Council had decided to assign Mohamed El-Garhi, a member of the Council, to head the team’s delegation heading to Algeria, in preparation for the confrontation with the Chabab Belouizdad team, scheduled for nine o’clock in the evening next Friday, February 16, Cairo time, in the fourth round of the group stage matches of the CAF Champions League.

Al-Jarhi was keen to fully coordinate with Captain Khaled Bibou, director of football, and arrange all matters related to the mission, to provide the best atmosphere for the technical staff and players.
