Al-Bulaihi causes Ronaldo to be sent off

Saudi Arabia – Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of the Al-Nasr team, tasted the taste of leaving the field expelled, for the first time during his trip with Al-Alamy against Al-Hilal, which was held on Monday evening in the Saudi Super Cup.

Al-Hilal overthrew its neighbor Al-Nassr by defeating them (2-1). Al-Hilal’s brace came from Salem Al-Dosari and Malcolm in the 61st and 72nd minutes, respectively, while Sadio Mane saved Al-Nasr’s face with a goal in the 90th + 9th minute.

Al-Nasr ended the match with 10 players after the match referee showed a direct red card to Cristiano Ronaldo in the 86th minute, following his clash with Al-Hilal defender Ali Al-Bulaihi.

The direct red card that Ronaldo received in the derby today is his first with Al-Nasr in 56 matches.

It is also the eighth direct red card for the Portuguese legend in his career, noting that he received 4 indirect red cards.

Al-Hilal renewed its superiority over Al-Nasr for the third time in a row in all official and friendly tournaments, after the victory of the first round of the league (3-0) and the final of the Riyadh Friendly Season Cup (2-0).

Al Hilal continued its series of victories, reaching its 33rd consecutive victory in all tournaments, an unprecedented number throughout history.

Al-Hilal will play against Al-Ittihad, the defending champion, next Thursday in the sixth confrontation between them in all the tournaments of the current season, noting that Al-Zaeem has won the past five matches (in the Saudi League, the AFC Champions League, and the Arab Club Championship).
