Libya – The head of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received Thursday the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Libya, Abdullah Batili.
Al-Burhan expressed, according to the media office of the United Nations Mission, his support for the efforts of the mission, stressing that achieving peace and stability in Libya will contribute to the stability of the entire region.
Batelli briefed Al-Burhan on the efforts of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya to restore stability and peace to the country, including by working for the return of foreign fighters, foreign forces and mercenaries, in coordination with their countries of origin.
