The Egyptian Football Association announced the acceptance of the resignation of Essam Abdel Fattah, head of the referees committee, which he submitted during the past few hours, following contracting with Englishman Mark Clattenburg.
The Egyptian Football Association indicated in its statement that the English expert, Mark Clattenburg, will start his work in the Egyptian Football Association, supervising the arbitration system, starting next week.
Sources within the Football Association revealed that Essam Abdel Fattah’s resignation came due to his refusal to work with Englishman Mark Clattenburg, and not because of Al-Ahly’s objection to the arbitration system.
