Al Ittihad Jeddah Club, runners-up to the Saudi Football League, announced on Monday that it has signed Portuguese coach Nuno Espirito Santo as the coach of the first team.
The Federation’s announcement of the contract with the Portuguese coach came through his official account on Twitter, and said, “The Portuguese Nuno Santo is the coach of the Federation.”
The Portuguese coach has a distinguished biography through his leadership of many European clubs, led by Valencia of Spain, Porto of Portugal, Wolverhampton and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Federation had thanked Romanian coach Cosmin Contra, announcing the end of his relationship with the club, and an hour later announced his contract with Santo.
