The press conference for the coaches of the third group teams of the AFC U-17 Championship qualifiers was held in Bahrain 2023, which will host the Sultanate of Oman, and includes, in addition to Lebanon, Oman (host), Bahrain, Qatar and Iraq.
The coach of Lebanon’s Spanish national team, Daniel Jimenez, confirmed that he took over the task of coaching the team after the Arab Cup, and the preparations took only 4 weeks, and despite the circumstances, Lebanon will seek to qualify.
He added, “I cannot talk about previous negatives, but I work well to achieve the best.”
Lebanon will open its matches against its Bahraini counterpart next Saturday on October 1, followed by the Oman match on the 3rd of the same month, then the third meeting against Iraq on the 5th of that month, and the last confrontation will be on the 9th against Qatar.
