Juventus announced on Wednesday the official signing of Brazilian defender Gleason Bremer until 2027, from neighboring club Turin.

Bremer, 25, played in the past 4 seasons for Torino, scoring 13 goals in 110 matches.

Juventus club said on its official website that Bremer was the most defensive defender in the five major leagues with 105 interceptions, and also recovered the ball from the opponent 284 times and won 217 individual duels, and 132 aerial challenges with the opponent. What made him crowned the best striker in the Italian league last season.

Bremer was expected to join rivals Inter, but Juventus outperformed “Neratsori” and kidnapped his services following paying nearly 40 million euros to join him, according to media estimates.
