Media sources confirmed that goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel had agreed to move to Nice.
Reports stated that the Danish international decided to leave his current team, Leicester City, following many years spent with the team to try a new experience, following he agreed to personal terms with Nice.
The news indicated that Leicester City would not stand in the way of Schmeichel’s desire to leave following 11 years with him, during which he achieved historic achievements, especially the crowning of the English Premier League title, provided that the club signs a new goalkeeper first.
Schmeichel’s decision came following he failed to reach a new agreement with Leicester City to extend the contract.
