Portugal is close to reaching the semi-finals of the European Nations League following defeating the Czech Republic, taking advantage of Spain’s defeat once morest Switzerland to snatch the lead from it.

The Portuguese team beat the Czechs 4-0, scored by Diogo Dalot (33, 52), Bruno Fernandez (45) and Diogo Jota (82).

In another match, Spain lost 1-2 at home to Switzerland.

Manuel Akanji (21) and Briel Embolo (58) scored the two guests’ goals, while Jordi Alba’s goal came from El Matador (55).

The Portuguese team jumped to the top of Group Two of the first level with 10 points, then the Spanish team came in second place with 8 points, Switzerland in third place (6 points), and the Czech Republic in last place with 4 points.
