Wydad SC won the Moroccan Professional Football League title following drawing 2-2 with hosts Mouloudia Oujda on Wednesday.
Wydad grabbed a tie with a taste of victory from the stadium of its host Mouloudia Oujda, on Wednesday, in the twenty-ninth (penultimate) stage of the competition, to officially crown the title without looking to meet its traditional rival, Raja Casablanca, who defeated its guest Royal Army 1-2 in the same stage.
Wydad crowned an exceptional season by winning the Moroccan League title, following he had previously embraced African glory by winning the African Champions League title at the expense of Al-Ahly of Egypt at the end of last May.
