The festival, whose third session will be held in the “Al Marmoum Desert Reserve,” during the period between January 12 and 21, raises the slogan “Stories told by nature.”
The third session of the festival includes a rich program of events and performances, with the aim of enhancing the sustainability of the film industry in the region, and providing an environment that brings together professionals in the film industry, to share their experiences and knowledge, and inspire new talents.
The festival includes the screening of more than 70 films and 30 workshops, covering the basics and techniques of preparing an actor, methods of calculating film costs and budgets, the difference between dramatic and cinematic scripts, the arts of photography, lighting, montage and coloring, methods of making documentaries and short films, children’s films, and the importance of dubbing in cinematic works. Emirati director Nahla Al Fahd
The artists: Emirati director Nahla Al-Fahad, Lebanese star George Khabbaz, Egyptian director Tamer Mohsen, and Sudanese director Amjad Abu Al-Ala, will be guests at the festival, participating in seminars and dialogue sessions, as the festival program includes more than 10 various seminars and dialogue sessions, in which an elite group of artists will participate.
