Al-Riyadi rises up and returns with a precious victory from Chiyah

Al-Riyadi won an important victory over Beirut (68-65) in the fifth match of the Lebanese Basketball Championship final series, to advance in the series with three victories compared to two victories for Beirut.

The athlete entered the match on the land of Beirut in Chiyah with a very high concentration, and his players were able to implement a tight defensive plan, through which they stopped Beirut star Wael Arakji almost completely. The arrest of Arakji confused the accounts of Beirut coach Ahmed Farran, who was unable to decipher the defense code imposed on him by the sports coach, George Geagea. The latter knew how to manage things despite the absence of Ismail Ahmed, so he relied on Ali Mansour, Karim Zainoun and Amir Saud, with a remarkable performance by foreign athlete Alam Al-Din Kikanovic, and a strong presence of the leader Jean Abdel Nour despite the injury. The athlete progressed from the first quarter and continued until the end of the match. Amir Saud and Karim Zainoun scored from the three-pointers line, and Kikanovic was strongly present under the basket.
