An Alabama woman who mysteriously returned home two days following being kidnapped from the side of the highway says she had to “fight for her life.”

Carlethia “Carlee” Nichole Russell was missing following stopping her vehicle on Interstate-459 to help a toddler who was walking alone.

The 25-year-old woman, however, was reportedly abducted by one or more kidnappers, who allegedly used the child to entrap her.

In a publication shared on Facebook, her spouse Thomar Latrell Simmons, indicated that the young woman had experienced an ordeal during her abduction.

“She literally had to fight for her life for 48 hours, so until her physical and mental condition is stable once more, she will not be able to hear from her or provide any information regarding her captors,” he said. -he writes.

The latter also thanked all those who helped in the search to try to find his spouse.

Two days following her disappearance, Carlethia Nichole Russell was driven to her home in the town of Hoover on Saturday. She then seemed in shock and was taken to hospital for evaluation.

The police said they wanted to give him time before questioning him.
