There has been an alarming revelation of manipulation of votes in the general elections held on February 8, where more than one hundred thousand votes were manipulated in Lahore’s Constituency NA 128.
Sarwar Bari, the head of Patan, a non-governmental organization working on the election process, claimed in today’s news program “News Insight with Aamir Zia” that after reviewing Form 45 and 46, it was learned that Aon Chaudhry won at the polling stations. The turnout achieved there was unusually high.
Sarwar Bari said that even in one polling station the percentage was 100%, where Salman Akram Raja won, the turnout was 40%, in this constituency Aun Chaudhry had defeated PTI’s Salman Akram Raja.
He said that there are one hundred and fifty one polling stations where the average turnout is 80%, but when we look at the provincial votes of the same polling stations, the turnout is seen as 40%. The number of such polling stations is ninety-five percent from which Aoun Chaudhry is winning with a huge majority.
Sarwar Bari said that when we analyze, we find that around one lakh votes are doubtful and if these votes are removed, Aun Chaudhry would have got barely 30 to 40 thousand votes.
