Many of us are afraid of stroke, and for good reason: it can happen without warning, and even if there are certain risk factors, people in perfect health are not spared. This was the case of Albane who – at 42 years old – was “struck by lightning” one Monday morning while she was getting ready before dropping her children off at school. What does it feel like to have a stroke? What was the first aid? How do we recover afterwards?
