Albany Man Convicted of Possessing Child Sexual Abuse Material

Kurt Nous, a 54-year-old Albany man, has been convicted on eight counts of possessing child sexual abuse material after a two-day trial in Albany County Court. The conviction follows an investigation into material found on his mobile phone, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s office.

The jury reached the guilty verdict after approximately one hour of deliberation. Following the decision, Nous was remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility to await sentencing, as confirmed by the district attorney’s office.
