A new album by Alberta Cross is scheduled for release in 2023, and the first new single entitled ‘Mercy’ can already be heard today. The dreamy rippling number is accompanied by a black and white music video. Led by Swedish-born singer and guitarist Petter Ericson Stakee, the band continue to create timeless alternative sound on their upcoming seventh record.
Speaking from a post-pandemic perspective, the new single addresses those moments when life can feel like a rat race and the impact that can have on mental health – a definite theme of the new record.
