While he sent Prime Minister Ana Brnabić to Brussels for the Western Balkans summit, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić turned his attention to more important things last week: a football match in Belgrade. Ten years ago, people in Brussels thought that Serbia might be lured with the EU prospect in order to normalize relations with Kosovo or even achieve “de facto” recognition. But that clearly failed.
