Today in Las Vegas a mixed martial arts tournament UFC Fight Night 207 was held, where the main event of the show was a heavyweight fight between a Russian Alexander Volkov and a Surinamese knockout Jairzinho Rozenstruik.
Already the first round was the final in this fight. Volkov went forward from the very beginning of the fight, actively kicking. Rozenstruik was able to catch Volkov’s leg and tried to develop his attack, but Alexander stepped back and started working once more from a distance in the rack. Volkov shook Rozenstruik with a right straight, following which he went to finish off the floating Surinamese. At that moment, the referee intervened and stopped the beating, declaring victory by technical knockout in the first round in favor of Volkov.
Thus, Volkov closed his March defeat from Briton Tom Aspinall in the previous fight.
