An alcoholic driver without a license drove over a traffic island in Salzburg-Maxglan on Saturday evening and damaged traffic signs.
He then got out of the car and walked towards the city center, as a witness reported to the police. Officers caught up with the man. The 56-year-old from Salzburg immediately admitted that he had caused the accident. His alcohol test showed 2.54 per mille, he doesn’t have a driver’s license and has to expect several charges, according to the Salzburg police.
