According to the information of the Water Supplies Department, the “Mui Wo area” in the outlying islands was notified of an emergency shutdown of drinking water at 11:45 pm. The reason was “urgent maintenance of water pipes”.
Some residents said in the middle of the night that the water supply began to be restored in their homes around 12:15 in the morning.
