The trailer for the film adaptation of Remarque’s most famous novel “All Quiet on the Western Front” has arrived.
Perhaps one of the most powerful books showing the futility of the First World War, regarding which David Lawrence wrote “Our generation has no great words left.”
The film is German.
The book is excellent, I can safely recommend it to anyone who has not read it. Whether this attempt at a screen adaptation will be good, we’ll see.
