The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) has temporarily immobilized all these electric buses as a preventive measure for a few weeks, TVA Nouvelles has learned.
This decision was taken “following incidents that occurred in other transport companies related to the risk of overheating of the batteries of electric buses”, indicated the STM to TVA Nouvelles.
However, there are few risks for the 42 electric buses of the STM, added the Company, wanting to be reassuring.
