Alleged kidnapped Saudi woman recovered from Karachi, accused in custody – Pakistan

The Saudi woman who was allegedly kidnapped from Islamabad has been recovered from Karachi, while the accused named in the case has also been arrested.

According to the British news agency “BBC”, the police have announced the recovery of the woman and the arrest of the suspect.

A Saudi woman was allegedly abducted from Sector F8 of Islamabad, whose case was registered in Margalla police station on April 18 on the complaint of Badr Al Haribi, a member of the Saudi diplomatic staff posted in Islamabad. In which it was claimed that Pakistani citizens are involved in this alleged kidnapping.

According to the Islamabad Police, after the FIR was registered, special teams were formed and the Saudi woman and her alleged abductor, who is a Pakistani national, were detained from Karachi on Tuesday night based on the locations of the mobile phones.

According to BBC, the accused’s family claimed that the young man was a driver in Saudi Arabia with a Saudi woman.

He also claimed that the Saudi woman had come to Pakistan with the accused before. The said woman had come to Lower Late in the month of Ramadan before Eid.

The local police officer of Lower Dir, who is involved in the investigation of this case, said that when the Saudi woman first came to Lower Dir, the accused’s father sent her back to Saudi Arabia.
