Alleged “narcoplane” was seized by the Senad in Pedro Juan Caballero

Asunción, IP Agency.- A twin-engine aircraft, with Paraguayan registration ZP-BDR, in addition to various documentation that was seized by personnel from Regional No. 1 of the National Anti-Drug Secretariat, in the department of Amambay, within the framework of an investigation into international drug trafficking.

It was during the search conducted at the airfield of the aircraft condominium Ypané, in the city of Zanja Pytã, Amambay department, in coordination with prosecutor Celso Morales.

The investigation indicates that this aircraft would be part of the logistics of a criminal structure and that it had already been used for several international air shipments of drugs, mainly cocaine.

There are also documentary elements that draw attention regarding who would be the owner of the aircraft that will be sent this Thursday to the Paraguayan Air Force Base, where it will be seized and taken into custody, reported Francisco Ayala, spokesperson for the Senad.

Aircraft constitute key elements within criminal logistics, due to their high value and difficulty in replacement by drug trafficking structures.
