This monitor in 16:9 format, whose marketing is planned for 2023, offers a maximum definition QHD (2560 × 1440). The company claims that it is the “first OLED display truly designed for gaming”; in fact, it features a 240 Hz OLED panel from LG Display and therefore shares most of the specifications of the aforementioned 27GR95QE, such as a gray to gray response time of 0.03 ms or NVIDIA G-SYNC / AMD FreeSync Premium compatibility .

Some welcome additions

Dough, however, made some changes. First, this is a glossy monitor, not a matte one. And for good reason: according to the company, “the Dough community has made it clear that the reduction in reflections isn’t worth the drop in black levels, sharper detail, and color vibrancy.” Typical brightness is advertised at just 150 cd/m², compared to 200 cd/m² for the UltraGear, although Dough claims up to 450 cd/m².

In addition, on the connection side, while the LG monitor only offers a pair of unspecified HDMI ports, a DisplayPort port and a two-port USB 3.0 hub, with its screen, Dough notably offers two HDMI ports. 2.1 with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) for native PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X console support, DisplayPort 1.4 as well as USB Type-C port with USB-PD charging of 100W.

The company delivers various comparisons highlighting its monitor but also its own virtue.
