In the tug of war over the future of Alphonso Davies at FC Bayern, sports director Max Eberl has spoken out. “I can say: We made Alphonso a very concrete, appreciative offer,” he told Sport-Bild and signaled that the people of Munich are waiting for a final decision from the Canadian and his advisors: “At some point in life you have to say yes or no say.”
Davies is toying with a move to Real Madrid. Apparently he has already agreed on a change with the Spanish football record champions – at the latest following his contract with Bayern expires in the summer of 2025. The left-back is said to be demanding an annual salary of around 20 million euros for a contract extension in Munich. According to Sport-Bild information, the offer from the German record champions is 13 to 14 million euros annually until 2029.
