Alpine F1 announces withdrawal from Martin Bukowski[F1-Gate .com]

Alpine F1 has announced that Executive Director Martin Bukowski has left the team.

Martin Bukowski, a former FIA head of F1 technology, joined the Renault F1 Team as an executive technical director in 2018. After rebranding to Alpine F1 in 2021, he remained on the team and was appointed to the team’s board in January of that year.

However, Alpine F1 has announced that Martin Bukowski will leave and Alpine CEO Laurent Rossi will be temporarily in charge of managing the team.

“I really enjoyed working with a group of such talented and dedicated people as part of the leadership team of Renault and then the Alpine F1 Team,” Martin Bukowski said in a statement.

“We will lovingly watch over the progress of the team in the coming season.”

“We are grateful for the commitment and contribution of Martin Bukowski’s team to the results over the last four years,” said Laurent Rossi.

“The team will be fully prepared to prepare the car for the first race in Bahrain and take performance one step further.”

The official announcement of Martin Bukowski’s resignation follows the recent story of a potential restructuring at Alpine F1.

Earlier this month, Aston Martin F1 team representative Otmar Safnauer resigned. Saunaware has moved to Alpine F1 and it is rumored that Martin Bukowski will join Aston Martin F1.
