Already ten dead after shooting in Buffalo

At least 10 people have died following gunfire in the US city of Buffalo. The AFP reported. Other media reports speak of eight victims. It was initially unclear how many people were injured and whether the death toll might rise. The New York City police had previously reported that the shooter had been arrested. NBC, on the other hand, reported that the perpetrator had been killed.

New York State Governor Kathy Hochul wrote on Twitter on Saturday that she was closely monitoring the situation following the incident at a local grocery store. “If you are in Buffalo, please avoid the area and follow directions from law enforcement and local authorities.”
