Amazing Bomberman mixes original gameplay with an interesting musical twist. A creative way to bring a classic formula up to date.

Konami reveals a new Bomberman game, a competitive blast-em-up game series that saw its finest days in the 90s with the release of Saturn Bomberman and Super Bomberman 64. The new installment, Amazing Bomberman, picks up the gameplay classic top view used in the best Bomberman games. However, this time, the studio adds a musical twist to it, in order to be creative with this old series.
As we can see thanks to the new trailer released by Konami, Amazing Bomberman looks a bit more intense than its predecessors. The levels change and become more complex to the rhythm of the music while pretty videos are presented in the background. The music is very JPop while the visuals and sound effects are reminiscent of other old retro games brought up to date like Space Invaders Extreme, Pac-Man Championship Edition or Tetris Effect. Some visuals have been modernized, but the power-ups will keep their classic look.
Konami also mentions that the new game Amazing bomberman will include seven levels when it is released. Each level will have its own original song composed for the game by artists from Japan and around the world. All this to create a funny combination of Bomberman with a rhythm game, but which should be a lot of fun to play. Amazing Bomberman will be available on Apple Arcade upon release.
