The American company Amazon has acquired the Belgian company Klostermans, which specializes in manufacturing technology and designing machines used in warehouses.
The famous electronic retail giant said that he has started cooperation with the Belgian company since 2019, explaining that he uses the company’s technology and machinery to transport and store heavy goods, and prepare them for delivery.
Klostermans will become part of Amazon Robotics, the Amazon arm focused on automated development of processes in the company’s warehouses.
It is noteworthy that “Amazon Robotics” was formed following “Amazon” acquired “Keva Systems”, which specializes in the manufacture of advanced machines for warehouses, regarding 10 years ago, in a deal worth 775 million dollars.
