SEATTLE (AP) — Amazon Prime Video series and movies will include commercials starting early next year, joining other streaming platforms that offer different subscription levels.

In the United States, Amazon Prime members will be able to pay $2.99 ​​a month to keep their service free of , the company said Friday.

Amazon announced that starting in 2024 it will broadcast limited ads during its series and movies to be able to “continue investing in attractive content and continue increasing that investment over a long period of time.”
