Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to China Aktilek Musayeva took part in a thematic event dedicated to the intangible cultural heritage “Chinese zodiac – symbols of happiness.” This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the press service, the event was organized by the China SCO Committee for Good Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation, the Beijing Center for International Cultural Exchanges, the Silk Road Art Research Center and the All-China Women’s Federation.
“In her speech, Ambassador Aktilek Musayeva expressed confidence that the platform of this event will significantly expand the scope of interaction and intensify both bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the field of culture, noting that intercultural dialogue plays an important role in the dissemination of cultural values among peoples.
During the event, the participants discussed promising areas of cultural and humanitarian cooperation and agreed to continue the comprehensive deepening of cultural exchanges.
The event was attended by the heads of state bodies of China, representatives of the diplomatic missions of the SCO countries and the media.
