AMBER Alert: 3-year-old girl found in 20 minutes in Sainte-Adèle

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) triggered an AMBER alert for a 3-year-old girl kidnapped in Sainte-Adèle, before lifting her following 20 minutes, overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday.

Child Ozzie Fougere and 21-year-old suspect Madison Loft were found safe and sound in the same area of ​​the Laurentians around 3:19 a.m., provincial police said.

The girl was taken care of by family members, while the 21-year-old woman who tried to flee on foot ended up in the hands of the authorities, it was mentioned.

The SQ specifies that the investigation is still continuing, while nothing has filtered on the motive for this kidnapping which almost caused panic and turmoil in the community.
