Amber Alert issued in Florida for missing child who was left at his Puerto Rican father’s house – Metro Puerto Rico

The authorities in Florida issued an Amber Alert due to the disappearance of a six-year-old boy who went out for a walk with his Puerto Rican father and has not yet been seen by his mother, who has requested help to find him.

According to Yanet Leal, the boy’s mother, he was visiting last Saturday at his father’s and grandmother’s house in the Homestead area of Miami, Florida. But when she went to pick him up, they weren’t home.

When police arrived at the scene, the boy’s grandmother’s boyfriend opened the door. According to the mother, identified as Yanet Leal, there was nothing in the house.

Leal explained that he fears for the life of his son, who is diagnosed with autism, due to a comment he made a few months ago, where he alleges his father told him “that when he turned seven or eight he was going to heaven, that he was going to be a little angel”.

“As a terrified mother, I went to court, made an emergency motion. I begged the court to take custody of him, to evaluate him psychologically, and the court said that I was simply repeating something that a child with autism said,” Leal said in an interview with NotiCentro.

Leal assured that the father of his son is armed. The woman believes it is possible the man traveled with the minor to Puerto Rico, specifically to Ponce where her family is from.
