A mod has been leaked online that allows you to enable AMD FSR 3 “frame generation” in any FSR 2 game on AMD and NVIDIA GPUs
The AMD FSR 3 activation mod for FSR 2 games was developed by LukeFZ, whose work we have already talked about earlier, the most recent examples being Starfield, Dead Space Remake, Alan Wake II, Hogwarts Legacy and The Last of Us Part 1. In general, from these games the mod FSR 3 was used to replace NVIDIA’s DLSS, meaning that the game had to have DLSS support for the mod to work, but with the latest mod you can also turn FSR 2 games into FSR 3 support.
AMD FSR 2 game support means gamers won’t have to rely on a game that relies solely on NVIDIA DLSS upscaling and frame generation technology, and can simply patch the FSR 2 design to support FSR 3 and its frame generation functionality. In the leaked documents, LukeFZ provides detailed guidance on how to get the mod to work with both compatible and incompatible games on Windows and Linux operating systems.
