Before advancing to the next generation of graphics card products, AMD’s three main products, RX 6900 XT, RX 6700 XT and RX 6600 XT, respectively launched the corresponding “half-generation” updates, the models are RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT and the RX 6650 XT. In terms of the number of computing units, GDDR6 vRAM, etc., they are all the same as the original, but AMD has slightly increased the frequency of the three. With the latest version of AMD software, it can bring about a 5~13% performance improvement. In addition, they can enable Smart Access Memory when paired with the new Ryzen processors, increasing performance by about 14% in certain games.

The RX 6950 XT is primarily focused on 4K gaming and targets NVIDIA’s RTX 3090. It has a total of 80 computing units and 16GB of vRAM, and the frequency is increased to 2.1GHz. It will also be priced at US$1,099, replacing the existing RX 6900 XT. The RX 6750 XT focuses on 1440p gaming and competes with the RTX 3070, with 40 compute units, 12GB of vRAM and a 2.495GHz frequency. This one is priced at US$549 and will also replace the existing RX 6700 XT. Finally, the RX 6650 XT focuses on 1080p gaming, about the same level as the RTX 3060, with 32 computing units, 8GB of VRAM and a frequency of 2.41GHz. Unlike the previous two, the RX 6650 XT and RX 6600 XT, priced at US$399, will be sold in the market at the same time, increasing players’ choices.

Both the RX 6950 XT and RX 6750 XT are available from AMD’s own products and from board partners, but the RX 6650 XT is only from board partners. But to be honest, the current graphics card price is still high, it should be a little difficult to find the favorite graphics card at the price.
