Hi Koura – The Saudi newspaper “Al-Riyadiya” revealed the amendments required by the FIFA Inspection Committee in the Radiant Jewel Stadium, in order to allow it to be used as one of the stadiums for the Club World Cup tournament at the end of this year.
The newspaper confirmed that the committee specifically stipulated 7 amendments, which are:
1- Create an area for fans around the stadium, provided that this area contains giant screens in order to show the matches and accompanying events.
2- Removing the current entry gates and replacing them with others, provided that the new gates include a barcode reader.
3- Moving the media spaces from the silver platform to the highest area of the stadium.
4- Allocate an easy path for media personnel to move to the press interviews area before and after matches.
5- Removal of the track in the main stadium’s reserve.
6- Changing the electronic clock inside the stadium in accordance with FIFA conditions.
7- Granting food and beverage licenses to international companies.
