American Arcadia unveiled at Summer Game Fest

Out of the Blue, the game developers Call of the Sea and Raw Fury present their new title, American Arcadia. This 2.5D first-person platformer immerses you in Arcadia, a 70s style and retro futuristic city. In this title, the characters who live in Arcadia do not realize that they are actors and that they are live streaming 24/7. You will play two characters that evolve in Arcadia.

Trevor is just an
average person living a mundane life, enjoying his daily routine and
the small little things that make him happy,” says Tatiana Delgado,
co-founder and Creative Director at Out of the Blue. “In the real
world that wouldn’t be a problem, but in Arcadia, not being popular
enough means trouble. But he’s found help from a mysterious voice
promising to guide him through American Arcadia’s backstage to
his freedom. Is this offer real, or merely a gimmick to raise
audience ratings?

Features of American Arcadia:

-Escape from a 70s TV utopia: Experience a gripping story presented only in documentary form, with character interviews and interrogations as you progress.

-Two experiences in one game:
control two characters with completely distinct playstyles: one is a 2.5D side-scroller with challenging platforming action, breathtaking chases, stealth and puzzles, the other a game 3D first person with elements of hacking, exploration, stealth and also puzzles.

– Rich characters and performances: exceptional voices, including Yuri Lowenthal (Spider-Man, Prince of Persia, Call of the Sea), Krizia Bajos (Cyberpunk 2077, League of Legends) and Cissy Jones (Firewatch, Life is Strange, Call of the Sea), bring to life to a world of fascinating characters.

American Arcadia is expected on PC and consoles. More details to come.
