American runner Lashinda Demus recognized as Olympic champion 11 years after the Games

Lashinda Demus was officially recognized as the gold medalist of the 2012 London Games by the International Olympic Committee. Almost 11 years ago, the now 40-year-old American took second place in the 400 m hurdles, but the winner, Natalia Antiuch, was disqualified.
